District Election Officer, Collector Gautham said that the district election administration has made all arrangements for voters to vote fearlessly, impartially and freely for the elections to the state legislative assembly tomorrow, Thursday, November 30.
General Elections 2023, the people of the district should exercise their right to vote voluntarily in accordance with the implementation of the election rules. District Election Officer, Collector Gautham called that every citizen who has the right to vote should vote freely and as citizens of the country, it is our responsibility to exercise the right to vote.
He said that a voter facilitation center will also be set up in each polling station to know the details of the vote, the voter information slip will serve only to educate the voter, apart from the epic card, one of the 12 types of original photo identification cards will have to be carried to the polling station.Every registered voter is urged to vote as a moral obligation. Wide awareness has been created on the importance of the right to vote, and even if the voters do not have card slips, they are asked to carry any of the 12 types of identity cards identified by the Election Commission and vote.
It has been clarified that the polling will start at 7 am and continue till 5 pm on Thursday, November 30, and all those who reach the polling center at the appointed time will be allowed to vote. The district election officer said that the silent period will have to be observed till the end of polling.
He said that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure that the elections are held in a peaceful atmosphere in Medchal, Malkajigiri, Kutbhullapur Kukat Palli, Uppal and the constituencies of the district. Everyone who is eligible should make use of their vote and every citizen should not forget to vote. He said that only one vote has a chance to strengthen democracy. Voters appealed to the people to vote without any temptation.
