Post-Matric Hostels

There are (20) Post-Matric Hostels (12) for Boys and (8) for Girls are functioning in the District. Diet Charges @ Rs.1500/- Per Month to all type of college students is being admitted.

 POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS (MTF) & REIMBURSEMENT OF TUITION FEES (RTF) TO BC STUDENTS:

Post Matric Scholarships (MTF) are being awarded to all the eligible B.C Students whose Parents / Guardians annual income does not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- P.A for Rural Areas and for urban areas annual income does not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- for all courses i.e. Intermediate to P.G. & Professional courses on saturation basis.  The rate of mess charges are enhanced as shown below

REIMBURSEMENT OF TUITION FEES TO EBC STUDENTS:

Reimbursement of Tuition FEE (RTF) are being awarded to all the eligible EBC Students whose Parents / Guardians annual income does not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- P.A for Rural Areas and for urban areas annual income does not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- for all degree courses i.e. Degree to P.G. & Professional courses on saturation basis. 

MAHATMA JYOTHIBA PHULE BC OVERSEAS VIDYA NIDHI :

The Government have introduce a new scheme vide G.O. Ms. No. 23 Dated:10-10-2016 that “Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC Overseas Vidy Nidhi Financial Assistance for BC students for pursuing higher studies in abroad from the year 2016-17and the Government initially sanctioned amount 20 Lakhs. ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE:

Government has allotted (4) seats for the B.C Law graduates to undergo training in Administration of Justice for (3) years.  During the training period @ 1000/- p.m. stipend, Rs.585/- towards Enrolment charges and Rs.3000/- towards Books & Material (one time payment) will be paid to them.

SANCTION OF INCENTIVE AWARD TO INTER CASTE MARRIED COUPLES:

Under this scheme, an incentive award is being sanctioned @  Rs.10,000/- per couple those who have performed Inter-Caste marriage.

KALYANA LAKSHMI – REFORMS AND POLICY INITIATIVES IN THE DEPARTMENT :

 Government of Telangana have introduced the scheme Kalyana Lakshmi to the B.C. / EBC unmarried girls for an amount of Rs.1,00,116/- on their marriage with a view to alleviate financial distress in the family.

Corporate Admissions (DRDA)

The Telangana State Government is given the grate opportunity to the state SSC or class 10th BC/EBC students who have pass with GPA Grade 7 and above, the students who have getting the Qualifying their SSC/10th with GPA 7.0 and above the TS State Students can apply to the Telangana Corporate Junior Inter admissions  through online from TS ePass Website, and registration of application service available through Meeseva or TS Online Service centers across in the state.

SCHEMES IMPLEMENTED BY THE BC CORPORATION

The main objective of the BC Corporation is to identify the B.C. persons  who comes under below poverty line and to provide financial assistance through implementation of the schemes for improvement of lively-hood to poor B.C. persons and TS MBC Development Corporation for Most Backward Classes persons. The following schemes are being implemented through this Office in the District.

Savithri Bai Phulay Abhudaya Yojana subsidy Scheme (To be Implemented in Urban areas)

Margin Money subsidy scheme (To be Implemented in Rural areas)

Annual Income :

Below Rs.1,50,000/- for Rural areas

Below Rs.2,00,000/- for Urban areas

Age Limit:

Age 21 years to 55 years

Age 21 years to 60 years for Agriculture Sector

The schemes would be implemented with Bank and without bank linkage, as per the revised funding pattern the subsidy component is as follows.  There is no beneficiary contribution.

FEDERATIONS SCHEMES:         

This scheme is being implemented in Rural & Urban Areas of the District to the Societies affiliated in the concerned federation and individuals of like T.S.Washermen , T.S.Nayee Brahmin, T.S.Vaddera T.S. Sagara/Uppara,  T.S. Valmiki /Boya, T.S.Krishna Balija/Poosala, T.S.Bhatraju, T.S.Kummarai/ Shalivahana, T.S.Vishwabrahmin, T.S. Medara and T.S.Toddy Tappers Federations.  (www.tsobmms.cgg.gov.in).

FREE ELECTRICITY TO HAIR DRESSING SALOONS, LAUNDRY  AND HOBIGHATS

          The Government of Telanagana have introduced Free Electric Supply up to 250 units to the Hair cutting saloons, Laundries and Dhobighats being run by the Nayee Brahmins and Rajaka Communities.  (www.tsobmms.cgg.gov.in)

CONSTRUCTION OF DHOBIGHAT :

The main object is to extend helping hand to the Washermen  Societies and to the members of the Washermen societies for Construction of New Dhobhighats.

This scheme is being implemented in Rural and Urban areas of the District and providing 100% subsidy of Rs.10.00 Lakhs for construction of Dhobighat to the Rajaka families.

The following are the requirements for construction of Dhobighats

  1. 20 guntas Land allocation from Revenue Department for alienating the land for construction of Dhobhighat, in case of Grama Panchayat land, a resolution  need to  be passed allotting the land for construction of Dhobhighat if any donor is donating land that should be registered in the name of the Rajaka Society with all legal rights for avoiding further complication.
  2. Resolution of the Rajaka Sangham.
  3. Dhobighat Plan and Estimates of the Dhobhighat from P.R. Engineering Wing.
  4. Water feasibility Certificate from Ground Water Department.
  5. Electricity feasibility from Electricity Department.
