He inspected the polling centers of Uppal, Malkajgiri, Polling Distribution, Strong Room, Returning Officer’s Office, Returning Officers Abhishek Agastya and Ravi Kiran in the background of the state assembly elections on Tuesday. The returning officers inquired about the details of the facilities in the DRC centre. On this occasion, District Election Officer, Collector Gautham said that all the facilities must be provided in the polling centers, with the coordination of booth level officials, ramp, fresh water, electricity facility, furniture and toilets must be provided at the field level. It is advised to ensure that there is proper electricity facility for webcasting in the polling centers and after providing the facilities, steps should be taken to ensure that there are complete facilities.A voter help desk should be set up in the polling stations. District Election Officer Gautham said that all kinds of arrangements should be made in advance so that there are no disturbances during the polling. On this occasion, Returning Officers, AEROs, officials of respective departments, election staff etc. were present.
