*The Chief Electoral Officer of the State conducted a video conference on the conduct of the State Assembly Elections.
State Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj said that in the wake of the Assembly elections, officers and staff should follow the guidelines of the Election Commission and perform their election duties.

State Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj, election observers Ajay V. Naik, Deepak Mishra, R. Balakrishnan, State DGP Anjani Kumar, along with state level high level officials in a video conference held with the district election officials on the arrangements for the upcoming general elections to the state legislature, District Collector Gautham from the Integrated District Collectorate, District Additional Collector Vijayendar Reddy,District Revenue Officer Haripriya, D.C.P. Sabarish participated in this video conference along with the nodal officials.

After participating in a video conference in the Collectorate meeting hall, District Collector Gautham spoke to the nodal officials.He said that after the nomination process, the EVM machines will have to be adjusted as necessary based on the number of candidates in the contest, if necessary, additional ballot units will be provided to the district and steps should be taken to carry out the second phase of EVM machine randomization on November 18.Pending voter registration applications should be processed within three days, he said. He said that permission should be granted from time to time to the applications received from the representatives of political parties and candidates for organizing meetings and gatherings related to the election campaign.
