Medchal – Malkajgiri District Election Officer and Collector Gautham said that on the third day of the nominations for the Telangana Assembly elections, a total of seven nominations were filed across the district on Monday. To this extent, he disclosed the details regarding the nominations. It is stated that one nomination from Medchal Assembly Constituency, one nomination from qutbhullapur Constituency, three nominations from Kukatpally Assembly Constituency and two nominations from Uppal Assembly Constituency have been received. Chintala Ankalamma Bharosa from Medchal Assembly Constituency, Dontula Bhikshapati from Kutbhullapur as Independent Candidate, Sudhakar Yadav, Chalika Parvathi and Chalika Chandrasekhar from Kukatpally Assembly Constituency as Independent Candidates, A. Devender and Bojja Yadagiri as Independent Candidates from Uppal Assembly Constituency. Election Officer, Collector Gautham said. To this extent, not a single nomination has been received from Malkajigiri constituency. District Election Officer and Collector Gautham clarified that the process of nominations in the district has been completed peacefully and necessary arrangements have been made in advance to avoid any untoward incident.
