Return of Rs.43 crore cash by District Grievance Committee,
District wide 482 cases,
Medchal – Malkajigiri District Election Officer, Collector Gautham,District Election Officer Gautham said that in the background of the state assembly elections, special vigilance will be organized in many places throughout the district and extensive inspections will be conducted. On this occasion, officials and police have confiscated (cash, jewels, gold total value) 58, 48 crores so far in the inspections in the district. out of lakhs 62 thousand 662 rupees,Medchal-Malkajigiri District Election Officer, Collector Gautham said that 1,114 cases have been registered and 487 people have been arrested after seizing two hundred and seventeen thousand seventy-three (2,17,073) liters of liquor under the authority of the Excise Department.
43 Crores of cash seized during the inspections have been returned.District Election Officer and Collector Gautham said that 482 cases have been registered across the district and the officials of the District Grievance Committee have examined all kinds of certificates and handed over Rs. Following the code of conduct of elections across the district, no more than Rs.50 thousand cash should be carried.

He said that if it is carried, the cash will be seized if it does not have proper certificates. In the background of the state assembly elections, the police and the election officials will continue to keep vigil on the movement of cash and liquor without any permits against the election rules.District Election Officer and Collector Gautham said that the seized cash should be contacted in the District Grievance Committee at F-12 in the District Collector’s office complex to recover the seized cash with all kinds of receipts and sufficient evidence.
