Medchal – Malkajigiri District Election Officer, Collector Shri.Gautham Potru IAS., said that people should file a complaint through C-Whistle app specially designed by the Election Commission in case of violation of the code of conduct regarding the election of the Legislative Assembly in the district. In the complaint received through the C-Whistle app, the complainant can file a complaint without phone number and details.Complaints about distribution of money, gifts, alcohol, posters on private properties without permission, campaigning, threats to voters, campaigning after ten o’clock in the night, etc. can be lodged through the C-Whistle app. He said that the youth must vote and never forget the social responsibility of voting.Complaints received through the C-Whistle app will be acted upon within 100 minutes, Electoral Officer, Collector Gautham said that complaints about hate speeches, violation of election code of conduct, illegal money, distribution of liquor and other violations can be lodged through the C-Whistle app, the phone number and details of the complainant will be kept confidential. Clarified.He said that if anyone illegally distributes cash, liquor and other items to deceive the voters during the election, live photos and live videos should be taken and sent through the C-Whistle app if they violate the code of conduct of the election. The concerned authorities will take action within 100 minutes on the complaints received by the people and voters through the C-Whistle app, GPS should be kept on while taking and uploading live photos and videos…District Election Officer and Collector Gautham said that the location will be registered automatically through geographic information, details like money, alcohol and gifts distributed by party candidates in assemblies and meetings, rallies held without permission, live photos and videos of other election violations should be sent through the C-Whistle app.He said that the youth of the district should use the C-Whistle app to bring to their attention the irregularities and violations in the elections, and 24-hour monitoring of the C-Whistle app complaints will be done from the integrated district complaint monitoring center in the district collectorate office.District Election Officer and Collector Gautham explained that they should download the C-Whistle app on their phones from the Play-Store and upload the violations of the election code happening around them, and the relevant authorities will immediately look into it and take action within 100 minutes.District Election Officer and Collector Gautham said that till now 243 cases have been registered through C-Whistle app across the district and they are being solved by the concerned authorities from time to time.
