Ballot Unit Control Units, VV Pots, Supplementary Randomization completed in reserve,
Medchal – Malkajigiri District Election Officer, Collector Gautham,
Collector and District Election Officer Gautham said that the process of supplementary randomization of the Ballot Unit Control Units which are in reserve as part of the Assembly Elections has been completed.District Election Officer Gautham, District Additional Collector Vijayendar Reddy, District Revenue Officer Haripriya and representatives of recognized political parties conducted reserve ballot units, 47 control units, 155, 20 VV pots, supplementary randomization process in the Integrated District Collectorate on Friday.
Later District Collector Gautham, speaking, said that in fact the movement of EVMs to all assembly segments has already been completed.However, even if technical problems arise during the polling, additional ballot unit control units are being allocated in order not to disrupt the voting process, according to the guidelines laid down by the Election Commission, the ballot unit, control units, VV pots, and randomization process will be held transparently in the presence of the representatives of the recognized political parties. He said that through the process of randomization, only the software designed by the Online Election Commission will determine which EVM machine will go to which polling station, and under no circumstances can the EVM machine be controlled by others.
