Telangana Sate civil supplies Corporation being a State Govt Agency is entrusted to carry out welfare activities like Distribution of Rice and other essential commodities under PDS at subsidized rates, Procurement of paddy at Minimum Support price declared by Govt from time to time to protect the farmers from distress sale.

Apart from the above, TSCSCL is also carrying out the prestigious scheme of Govt of Telangana of supply of sannabiyyam to the inmates of schools and hostels under MDM and Hostels & Welfare Institutions scheme.

• Public Distribution System:
• TSCSCL is a State Agency appointed by the State Government for distribution of rice under PDS along with other essential commodities. I.e Rice Sugar Wheat

• MID DAY MEALS SCHEME:
• Mid day meals (MDM) Scheme is a Central Government Scheme to provide meals to Primary and upper primary school children and to IX & X Class children.

IT initiatives like SCM(Supply Chain Management), OPMS(Online Paddy Management System), GPS(Global Positioning System) and FMS(Financial Management System) were introduced in Corporation to bring more efficiency and transparency in the system.

• OPMS(Online Paddy Management System): Real time Paddy procurement operations from paddy purchases at PPCs till delivery of CMR at Godowns are captured online in OPMS application.

• Enables online payment to Farmers Accounts directly in time.

• SCM(Supply chain Management): End to end computerisation of receipt and distribution of rice under PDS.

• GPS(Global Positioning System): Vehicles loaded with GPS helps in tracking of vehicles used in stage-I and Stage-II movement to avoid diversion of PDS stocks.

• FMS(Financial Management System): Online real time accounting system.

• CC TV cameras: Installation CC Cameras at all MLS points to monitor the operations at District and Head office level.
