INDUSTRIAL POLICY (T-IDEA, T-PRIDE)

After formation of Telangana, the Government brought New Industrial Policy in the name of T-IDEA (Telangana State Industrial Development and Entrepreneur Advancement) for general entrepreneurs and T-PRIDE (Telangana State Program for Rapid Incubation of Dalit Entrepreneurs) for SC/ST and Differently abled entrepreneurs through which providing incentives like Investment Subsidy, Reimbursement of Pavalavaddi, Reimbursement of Sale Tax, Reimbursement Power Cost etc for prospective entrepreneurs.

TS-iPASS:

Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self Certification System through which the Industries Department facilitating the prospective industrialists a paperless online processing system for issuing of various approvals by various departments for establishing industries. Under TS-iPASS if an approval is not given in stipulated time inspite of submitting application in full shape, it is deemed approval taking a self certification from the Entrepreneur and the concerned officer for causing delay will be Penalised.

PMEGP (Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme)

PMEGP is Central Government sponsor Scheme and the aim of the PMEGP is generating employment opportunities in rural as well as urban areas through setting up of self employment enterprises. The Government provide margin money which will be converted to banker subsidy @ 15% and 25% in Urban and Rural areas respectively in General Category and 25% and 35% in Urban and Rural areas for SC/ST/OBC/Minority/ Women and Ex-servicemen on the project cost. Any individual above 18 years is eligible and no income ceiling. The maximum project cost in manufacturing sector is limited to 25 lakhs and in service sector limited 10 lakhs.

From the formation of the Medchal District until the financial year of 2018-19, a target of the 73 projects were allotted to the district. Out of the target of 73 projects 81 number of projects were sanctioned and 78 projects are grounded and achievement of 107% progress.
